We are pleased to announce that GolfStatsPro v2.1 is now available for download from the Download page. This is a free upgrade for existing customers.

This is primarily a bug fix release to address some of the issues that have been brought to our attention. The full list of bug fixes can be seen below :

• Fixed crash on 64 bit operating systems
• Fixed intermittent crash on round entry.
• Tidied up graphs.
• Fixed scrolling on player entry, course entry and round entry screens. This was preventing some users from accessing the entire scorecard.
• Use consistent terminology for sand shots across the application.

 

We are pleased to announce that a new version of Golf Stats Pro is currently in development with some exciting new features planned and will be available as a free upgrade for existing users.

Swinging to success with Golf Stats Pro

Erebus Software release new version of golfing analysis software

August 26 2008 – Version 2.0 of Golf Stats Pro was released today by New Zealand based company Erebus Software. The software provides golfers with an in-depth analysis of their game, allowing them to identify problem areas and monitor their improvements. It features a multitude of graphing, statistical and reporting options as well as the ability to calculate handicaps.

Version 2.0 includes many new features, including
• A new ‘Homepage’ where users can see at a glance a summary of the latest golfing news from around the world as well as their performances on the course.
• The ability to specify the club used to tee-off.
• Improved player and course reporting capabilities.
• Improved statistical analysis.
• UK and US handicap calculations.

A trial version is available for download from www.golfstatspro.com. This trial version can be used for up to 5 rounds, after which a license can be purchased for continued use.

Erebus Software was founded in August 2007 in Auckland, New Zealand by Jim Gardner and the first version of Golf Stats Pro released a month later. A cricketing scoring and statistics program is currently in the works, as well as a copy protection framework for software developers.

We are pleased to annouce that final testing is nearly complete and the new version of Golf Stats Pro will be available for download on August 26th 2008.

A trial version will be available for evaluation purposes. This trial version is fully functional but has a limit of 5 rounds that can be entered. A licence to enter unlimited rounds can then be purchased for the low price of £13.

 

Back by popular demand, the latest version of Golf Stats Pro will be released shortly. This version incorporates the following enhancements :

• Ability to specify tee off club to help you analyse which clubs you are more proficient with.
• New 'Homepage' giving you quick and easy access to the latest statistics as well as the latest news from the world of golf and the latest updates from the Golf Stats Pro team.

• Much improved 'look and feel' throughout the application.
• More customisable to suit your needs.
